Creativity Poem

Most will search and never find

The treasures she has left behind

As vipers strike with fleeting blow

Her secrets we may never know

For here one moment gone the next

Her absence leaves us ever vexed

Not underfoot nor overhead

We search in vain and must be led

With inspiration as our guide

Alas she can no longer hide

In shadowed darkness does she wait

To strike at those who seek their fate

For when she bites so powerfully

Her venom works to set us free

Intoxication from within

With burning drive we must begin

For as it courses through our veins

The clock stands still and all remains

Her captives we have just become

And so will stay until she’s done
